Naples Creek Soaps & Sundries is a small, cottage business, located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State. For me, soapmaking began as an expansion of my interest in all things herbal. I quickly discovered the enormous benefits of using soap that contained ingredients that I had hand picked for their various skin care qualities. I found that I had become accustomed to the tight, dry skin that I felt after a shower with commercial detergent bars and never realized there was an alternative. Soapmaking from scratch not only fulfills my skin care needs but the creative outlet that I find from designing my own recipes for a bar of soap that's not only filled with moisturizing lather, but looks and smells wonderful.

My soaps are made from a variety of vegetable oils, exotic butters, creamy milk, botanicals, essential oils and, in some cases,  only the finest fragrance oils. Recipes vary and every bar is labeled with specific ingredients so that you might find one that's right for you. All soaps are made in small, individual batches with constant attention to quality.

The majority of my products can be found at this website but special items are sometimes offered at festivals or in retail gift shops. If you're looking for something that you don't see here, please let me know. As an "online shopper" myself, I am aware of the fear factor that comes with placing an order and waiting and wondering. Each and every order placed with me is given my prompt and complete attention, regardless of order size.

A soapmaker since 1998, my goal is to continue to research the benefits of the many herbs & plants that nature so graciously provides us and to bring those benefits to you in my skin care products.
