Never give honey to children under 1 year of age. Many babies can become very ill from honey, even a small amount, as their digestive system has not completely developed.

Much of the honey being sold in supermarkets in the United States is inexpensive foreign honey from China and other countries. Naples Valley Honey is fresh, produced by American honeybees from American wildflowers. America needs honeybees to pollinate our crops and vegetables.

Naples Valley Honey is unheated and unfiltered, thereby keeping all of the natural goodness in. As the season progresses, the honey will appear darker and the flavor will be distinctly stronger than that which was produced early on. It is believed by some that consuming honey that has been produced within 50 miles of your home will greatly improve allergies to those plants that are in bloom. Our honeybees will begin producing honey as the Apple trees are in blossom, progressing through the season to Locust, Sumac, Honeysuckle, Basswood, Clover, and, finally, Goldenrod. Honey is an excellent natural sweetener in Tea, Barbecue Sauce, Baked Goods and more.
